Old School History Museum
Take a peek inside the Old School History Museum!
We welcome you to the Old School History Museum and invite you to take a journey into the past. Step into our drugstore and take a seat at the 1950’s soda fountain, enjoy a “pretend” soda, and listen to music from the 1946 Seeburg jukebox. Next, linger in early downtown Eatonton with its shops, grocery store, barber shop and PEX theater. Just beyond, enter the History Gallery and be swept away into rich, Southern history. Don’t miss the Clovis point in the Indian artifact case. It dates back 12,000 years! Finally, visit the Historic Classroom with its original cloakroom and 1916 blackboards. You can even slide into an antique desk and read from an old-fashioned textbook! Take a look at the Sports Wall as you exit the classroom. It’s an adventure you will not want to miss!
